-
Who is The Confidence Lab for?
The Confidence Lab is designed for students who may get nervous during tests, hesitate to participate, overthink, shut down after mistakes, doubt themselves, or feel pressure in school, sports, music, performances, and everyday situations.
It is also a great fit for quiet leaders, high achievers, and kids who know what to do but freeze when the moment gets big.
-
What ages or grades is this for?
Our labs are currently designed for students ages 9–12 and rising 4th–6th graders.

It is a structured lab that teaches students practical steps they can use when they feel nervous, uncertain, uncomfortable, or under pressure.
-
What will students learn?
Students will learn how to:
Conquer fear using step-by-step tools
Speak up when they feel nervous
Make tough decisions in uncomfortable moments
Bounce back after mistakes
Use past experiences as proof that they can do hard things
Build confidence as a skill they can practice for life
-
Will this help my child in school?
Yes! The Confidence Lab is designed to support real school situations, including tests, class participation, presentations, mistakes, decision-making, and moments when students may feel nervous or unsure.
The goal is to help students enter the school year with more confidence, independence, and self-trust.
-
Will this help my child outside of school?
Absolutely. The tools students learn can also apply to sports, music, performances, friendships, auditions, competitions, and everyday pressure moments.
Confidence does not only matter in the classroom. It shows up everywhere.
-
How do I register?
Go to the REGISTER page and choose either the July or August session.
Your child’s spot is reserved once registration and payment are complete.
-
Are spots limited?
Yes. Spots are limited to keep the lab focused, supportive, and small enough for students to feel seen.
-
Who created The Confidence Lab?
The Confidence Lab was created by Brandon Horsley, a teacher, coach, and mentor who has spent years working with kids and helping them build confidence, handle pressure, and bounce back from mistakes.
-
What if my child is shy?
That is completely okay. Our labs are designed to support students who may be quiet, nervous, or hesitant at first.
The goal is not to force kids to become loud. The goal is to help them trust themselves and feel more prepared when big moments happen.
-
What if my child already seems confident?
That is okay too. Confidence is not just for kids who are shy or nervous.
High achievers, athletes, performers, and strong students can still feel pressure, overthink, or struggle when the moment gets big. The lab helps students strengthen the confidence they already have and learn how to use it when it matters.
-
What if my child misses a session?
Since this is a structured 8-session lab, regular attendance is strongly encouraged so students can get the full experience.
There are no refunds or partial refunds for missed sessions.
